- Virgil Sr.’s brother was killed and he left home to go West. Ended up working for a chiropractor at his gym in AZ. Was inspired by his experience and wanted to make a difference.
- Virgil Sr. attended Texas Chiropractic College in the early to mid 1920’s.
- Virgil Sr. Received a grant from the Universal Chiropractic Association to audit chiropractors west of the Mississippi. Found the average adjustment lasted about 90 steps from the table, “had a hunch”
- Began developing the Chrane Condyle Lift and refined it over 19 years.
- Virgil Jr. was born 1932
- Virgil Sr. had a 9 month waiting list and had clients from all over the country.
- Virgil Jr. attended Texas Chiropractic College in 1952 and worked with his father.
- Virgil Jr worked with Virgil Sr. to develop the philosophy and writings on the unique approach they had created.
- Virgil Sr. and Virgil Jr discussed leaving Chiropractic as it was becoming more medical.
- Virgil Sr. died in 1965, Virgil Jr had a dream soon after in which the name “alphabiotics” was revealed.
- Virgil Jr. declared “Alphabiotics” as a unique profession in 1970.
- In 1975, Virgil Jr. and Michael Chrane went to Mexico to establish a solid footing and soon saw over 300 people a day together.
- In 1979, back in the US, they established an Academy to train others through a 501c3.
- First classes were in the early 1980’s and there was still a lot of research about exactly what was happening with the work, they just knew it worked.
- 1987 Dr Michael Chrane starts teaching with his father Virgil Chrane.
- 1990’s started training more people from different professions.
- 1993 Nona Bertschy, DA was the first woman certified as an Alphabioticist.
- 1995 Nona Bertschy, DA begins assisting the Academy to increase the number of women doing the work.
- 1998 Nona Bertschy, DA becomes a certified teacher with the Alphabiotic Training Academy.
- 2000’s Dr Michael Chrane began innovating a better way to teach the technical part of Alphabiotics.
- 2016 Jeffrey Williams, DA becomes a certified teacher with the Alphabiotic Training Academy.
- 2017 Virgil Chrane died and the Academy was carried forward by Dr Michael Chrane, Dr Nona Bertschy and Jeffrey Williams, DA. The California satellite campus was established.
- 2022 Swirl Jordan Moore Williams, DA becomes a certified teacher with the Alphabiotic Training Academy.
- Currently classes are taught in California and Texas.
